Matisse – Por Última Vez

Buen día, amigas.  ¡Otra miércoles, otra canción!  Esta semana, tememos “Por Última Vez” (For the Last Time), de Matisse.

La Canción de la Semana

I came across this video back when I started exploring Matisse, after encountering them, originally, as featured artists in the HA-ASH video “Sé Que Te Vas” (22 de junio de 2016).  While I fell in love with their style — both musical and visual — from the start upon seeing this very video, I couldn’t bring myself to share it, because, frankly, it’s just too melancholy.  (Even for me!) Matisse – Más Que Amigos

Buenos días, amigas.  ¡Otra miércoles, otra vídeo de música!

This week’s video, unfortunately, couldn’t be embedded here, so you’ll have to follow the link to VEVO.  Sorry.  But, if you’re a Matisse fan (and you should be by now), I think you’ll find it worth the click!

HA-ASH – Sé Te Que Vas

Buenos días, todas.  My video pick of the week — música para el miércoles — is a quintet featuring 2 of my favorite groups, HA-ASH and Matisse.  It was, in fact, in listening to HA-ASH perform that I encountered Matisse to begin with.  ¡Gracias, mis hermanas!  And so, without any further introduction, here are HA-ASH and Matisse performing Sé Que Te Vas”….

¡Hasta lluego, amigas!

Matisse – La Misma Luna

¡Otra miércoles, otra canción!

Matisse, as my hermano has pointed out in the past, is a group he discovered while enjoying the music of his favorite Latina band, Ha*Ash.  They performed the beautiful (though very sad!) ballad “Sé Que Te Vas” with Hannah and Ashley on their live (en vivoPrimera Fila – Hecho Realidad album.

Joaquin already shared with you un vídeo of Matisse’s a few weeks back, and I want to bring you another esta semana. Espero que disfruten de “La Misma Luna”.

There is a different version (original one, I think) at https://youtu.be/9GKyF_1uQ_w?t=19s.  (And yes, I start it at 19 seconds in for a reason.  Trust me on this.)

¡Hasta luego, amigas!
